The Four Horsemen
Hasting Session 13
Session 13- 6/3/16
Well, ah’d been (knocked out or fetchin’ sumpin’ [session 12]), an when ah come to, ah seen the Hell Bore had been smashed up with some kinda explosion. Ah heard tell it wuz done by Ranger Love. It near ta broke ma heart, ta see that wonderful machine, justa’ smokin’ and all banged up. Ah guess Love had hiz reasonin’, which ah ain’ about ta question, but ah don’ agree he shoulda’ done it, but its done. While it wuz busted, ah worked with HK ta help fix it. As soon as ah think he done showed me everything he can about tinkerin’ he shows me sumpin’ new. Ah’m getting’ good at this tinkerin’ now. Well, tha Hellbore had been pretty close ta completin’ tha tunnel, an’ after tha repairs they started it up agin’. This time, it didn’ roll forward on wheels, it walked lahk a big ol’ insek. It smashed through tha last part o’ tha tunnel. Ever’ body wuz a celebratin’ an drinkin’ shampain. Ah pretended ah lahked it, but ah didn’ really. Dr. Hellstrom had his security men ‘secure’ tha tunnel entrance, during that celebrashun. We decided ta company him on ‘tha good intenshuns’, thas what he calls his train. Mah Ma says, ‘good intenshuns is how you get ta Hell’, an’ it kinda makes me wonder bout ol’ Mister Hellstrom. He is one strange feller, but ah cain’t help but admire anyone who can tinker lahk that, an’ has a vision fer the sheer size o’ things he haz done. Anyway, we is goin’ ta company him ta complete his railroad ta Ghost Town on tha outskirts o’ Lost Angels.
Ever since we arrived outside o’ ghost town, we been tryin’ ta figger out how we can sneak inta Lost Angels to find out what happened ta Helman. After talkin’ ta a lotta different people, we find a feller by that name o’ Mad Matt. He leads us down inta a tunnel that he says, can take us raght inta the city. Just as that’s a goin’ on, there is some shootin’ an’ the battle starts up. All tha groups is a shootin’ ever which a way, and darned if them water towers don’t sprout legs lahk a potato, an’ ah see ma vision o’ that battle a comin’ true.
